All 'Bout BOOKS !

The following list is a ranking of the best-selling books of all time and in any language.
("Best-selling refers to the estimated number of copies sold of each book, rather than the number of books printed or currently owned.)

1. The Holy Bible - 5 to 6 billion -
2.
Máo-zhǔxí yǔlù - 900 million -
3.
القرآن The Qu'ran - 800 million -
4. Xinhua Zidian - 400 million -
5. Book of Common Prayer - ~400 million -
6. Pilgrim's Progress - ~400 million -
7. Foxe's Book of Martyrs - ~400 million -
8. Book of Mormon - 120 million -
9. Harry Potter - 107 million -
10. And Then There Were None - 110 million -

yes - the numbers speak loud and clear.

I think now would be an appropriate time to say
"Bring it STRONG, or don't bring it at all."

the B-I-B-L-E , yes, that's the book for me...

Just Stop & Think

I first had the privilege to listen to Francis Chan during the Passion 07 conference this year. The conference in Atlanta was incredible and Chan certainly blew up it! -during his sermon in front of a lil' over 20 some thousand college students who were there for Passion. However, he wasn't just putting on a show for Passion, Chan lives out the gospel everyday. I've listened to him speak many times now... I guess all I can say is: He's solid. period. He is a phenomenal speaker and is one of the most transparent speakers I have ever listened to. He is such a relevant pastor b/c he is always just so real with the people he is speaking to. There is no fluff or fake about him when he proclaims the gospel. His heart is wide open every time he speaks. It is awesome. If you have the chance, check out francischan.org

Following suit with my lil' two cents about Francis Chan --> the focus of this post is on a DVD called Stop&Think. This 15 min. short film presents the gospel in a fresh, crisp way. Honestly, it is great. go watch it. You won't regret it...

Louie online....

Rather than building up a big, creative introduction for this post ---I'll just get right to it:
Louie Giglio has some great talks online - go check 'em out! (they are the Passion website under "Watch Louie's talks online"...). I love how Louie is random in a lot of his thoughts(like me) yet still remains true to scripture. He always seems to have a fresh look on life from God's perspective. When you've got some time ----> hop online and watch 'em!

he just brings it fresh, and he always challenges your mind to THINK. solid...
